Jasmine Brown, Esq.

Jasmine Brown is a San Diego native who developed a passion for advocacy and justice early on, ultimately pursuing a legal career dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's most challenging transitions.

Ms. Brown left her hometown to attend Willamette University, where she completed an accelerated dual-degree program, earning her B.A. in Politics, Policy, Law & Ethics alongside her Juris Doctor in six years.

Before and throughout law school, Ms. Brown devoted four years to frontline work at a domestic violence and relationship counseling center, where she supported individuals and families through crisis intervention, safety planning, and the deeply personal challenges that arise when relationships break down. That experience gave her a ground-level understanding of the fear, uncertainty, and resilience it takes to navigate the hardest moments in a person's life, regardless of their circumstances. Alongside that work, Ms. Brown spent approximately five years gaining hands-on legal experience in criminal defense, beginning in her sophomore year of college and continuing through the completion of law school.

Upon passing the California Bar, Ms. Brown gained additional experience in civil litigation and family law before finding her professional home at The Law Offices of David C. Beavans, APC, where she exclusively practices Family Law. Ms. Brown is deeply committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate, and effective legal representation, with an approach grounded in clear communication, strategic advocacy, and practical solutions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Ms. Brown is licensed to practice before all California courts.

Outside of the office, Ms. Brown enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, creative writing, and cooking. She loves spending time with her husband and their two cats, and as a true San Diego native, she is most at home on the beach or out on the water.
